Solution to #isolinux error in live-build for #old #debian versions

 🇬🇧 #error #isolinux for #older #builds of #debian using #live-build

since Debian 9 stretch if you try to build an old version of debian this will not be possible because of a thin new line, due to the syslinux package that was branched.

This error is because instead of just checking the syslinux package that contained the isolinux binary , now when branching the syslinux package you must verify the package that contains the binary. which is now a standalone called as is isolinux .. this is obviously not present in older versions of debian.

SOLUTION

install the venenux live-build package or edit the binary_iso file commenting on the verification of the file the line that has Check_package and that's it. repeat the process .. (unfortunately everything since the failure is at the end XD), more on our telegram channel http://t.me/s/vegnuli
